Joy To The World!
The God of this incredible creation chooses to become one with us, one with us even in our suffering and loneliness. This invisible God becomes touchable in Jesus, such is his love, such is his commitment. For he comes to heal his wayward creation so that we may enjoy him as our loving heavenly Father, forever.

Welcome to Christ Church Aughton
Our key task at Christ Church, Aughton here on the West Lancashire plain is to share Jesus with everyone in our parish. Everyone means everyone. This over-arches everything we do and on this website, you can read of this month’s activities in CONSIDER, our news-sheet delivered free of charge to every house in the parish. You can read this month’s copy online – just click here.
As a parish church Christ Church Aughton in the diocese of Liverpool aims to be inclusive and new members are continually joining us from different traditions, usually those moving into the parish. Nevertheless our ministry is essentially evangelical and our worship relaxed and participatory.
Our ministry centre provides a wonderful resource for ministry! Hence the name. Opened in 2010 it is used for all manner of church events – from Alpha courses to our senior citizens’ Luncheon Club.
Cafe Vista, situated on the first floor offers a wonderful view over the West Lancashire plain and beyond – and it is open for everyone, not just church members. Each Tuesday to Friday, from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm it offers lunches and light refreshments. Just turn up – you will be amazed!
If you are interested in using the hall please contact Vicky Sime at the church office.
